               Power and influence are not virtues.

3. How we serve those in authority vindicates the Gospel. (1 Tim. 6:1-2)
   Serve for Christ’s sake.

4. How we hold to the words of Christ vindicates the Gospel. (1 Tim. 6:3-4a)
   Earthly wisdom is demonic.
