Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Lottie Moon Offering

What is the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering?

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. The offering was officially named in 1918 by Woman’s Missionary Union in honor of the missionary to China who urged churches to start it and give sacrificially.

This offering is unique from other mission offerings in that 100% of gifts provide for missionaries all over the world. It is a valuable part of Southern Baptists' 175-year history of reaching the nations with the gospel and vital to reaching the vision of a multitude from every language, people, tribe and nation knowing and worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 7:9).

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® is a registered trademark of Woman’s Missionary Union.

What is the Lottie Moon Prayer Wall of Giving?

The Lottie Moon Prayer Wall of Giving is in the hallway of the Main Education Wing of the church.  Stop by the wall from November 15th through the end of December.

Here is how it works:

     1) Prayerfully consider a financial gift to support Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® by gifting through the Wall of Giving. IMB has set a $175 million goal to support 175 years of IMB uninterrupted mission service in bringing the gospel to all.

     2) Select an envelope from the Prayer Wall of Giving with amount you would like to give. (Please note: you can choose more than one envelope and you can gift more than the dollar amount on Envelope)

     3) Place Lottie Moon Offering Envelope in offering box. For tax donation purposes: Please make sure to include Your Name and please remember to make notation on checks in memo line: Lottie Moon.

100% of your generous gift provides missionaries the services they need to live among the unreached peoples they serve.  FBC Church family would love to see 100% church participation through prayer and giving to support international missions through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® Prayer Wall of Giving.  Let’s see all the envelopes disappear as you learn about missionaries serving around the world.
