Children's Online Ministry

A Message from our Children and Family Dir.

While some of us still cannot be together right now, let’s do our best to stay connected. You can check this webpage for updates and content, as well as our Facebook Page

You can reach me via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , I will be checking my email frequently. Let’s use this as an opportunity to lean on the Lord. To slow down and embrace what really matters. To dig into the one thing that NEVER changes and is always constant, the Word of God. If you or your child are in need of a Bible, please send me an email, and I will make sure you get one. On this webpage, you will find resources to explain Covid-19 to your child, in a child friendly way (you know your child best, please preview the video for yourself before playing it for your child), and you will find updates and resources. God Bless, Kayla Horner

To receive reminders on new uploads/content posted to the FBC website, sent as a text directly to your phone, parents can sign up to receive Remind messages via the Remind app (the app does not need to be downloaded). You can also check back here frequently for updates.

Every Wednesday at 2pm CDT Girls in Action and Royal Ambassadors will be going live on their Facebook pages to deliver the weekly lesson. Mission Friends can take advantage of these lessons as well.

A Family Devotional Offered by Pastor Cory Gonyo

Dangerous Journey is a children’s version of John Bunyan’s Pilgrim's Progress which is the second most read book of all time in English, second to the Bible. It has been a tradition in Pastor Cory's family for he and his kids to come together each year and read Dangerous Journey. He is sharing this recording of one of his family readings with you in an effort to “be together” as a church family, even when we can’t physically be together. Pastor Cory voices all of the characters. Gather your children together and listen to this wonderful story as a family. We’ll get through this together! The LORD is with us always!

Looking for a wonderful home devotional to do with your family, while you are all home during this time? Check out Truth78: Lord Teach Us To Pray

Truth78 is a wonderful ministry, and their curriculum is what we use in our Sunday School classes, as well as our VBS this upcoming Summer. This is a wonderful time to connect as a family, and draw nearer to the Lord.

As Pastor Cory live streams the sermon this Sunday, we encourage you to gather the family around and have the children engage and take notes like they would if they were in the church service. Here is a PRINTABLE COPY of page 1 in My Church Notebook, for children to fill out and follow along.
