What To Expect

hug.jpgWelcome from First Baptist Church of Bettendorf!  We are a congregation of people who have placed their trust for salvation in Jesus alone.

We have made a covenant with each other to journey together as we make our way home to Heaven.  Together we are committed to tell others about Jesus.  We seek to worship Him and know Him more deeply through our worship services, Bible study and Wednesday night prayer meeting.

Then finally in this covenant we seek to minister to one another and share our lives with each other. FBC Bettendorf’s mission statement reflects this covenant.  The mission of FBC Bettendorf is to connect people to Jesus and to each other.

We would love to get to know you, pray with you and help you in any way we can to know Jesus.  We invite you to journey with us as we make our way “Home”.

What about my children?

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these,” said Jesus in Matthew 10:14.  We believe that children of all ages are a gift and treasure from God, and they are to be taught and raised up to know just how much they are cherished.

Our mission is to partner with the parents in laying a foundation of spiritual truth so that each child will know he/she is cherished and, in God’s timing, become a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ growing in His word and service for His glory.

Here at FBC Bettendorf we offer:

Children and youth learn how the Bible fits into their lives, how to talk to God in prayer, and what it means to be a lifelong follower of Jesus.  They take the gospel to heart, building a foundation – and often, friendships – that last for the rest of their lives.

Programs are available for all children from Preschool through High School age.  See our Children and Student Pages for information.

Any of our greeters would be happy to direct you and your children to the right place.
