If you have not signed up to attend, please come any way and bring a side dish to share.  See Linda Bettis for questions. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;There will be no AWANA’s tonight. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study &amp;amp; Prayer Group will not be meeting on November 22nd (Thanksgiving holiday).  On November 29th the ladies will be starting a new study--Dr. Jeremiah’s study on the book of Revelation. All ladies are welcome to attend.   For questions, please contact Joanna Gillette. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;If you would like to sign up for special music there is a sign-up sheet in the foyer.  For questions, please contact Andrew. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The state goal for 2011 for the William &amp;amp; Garlinda Hyde Iowa Missions Offering is $75,000.  All money given is used to support church ministries in the State of Iowa.  The FBC goal is $500.  To date, the total received is $615. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;It is only 13 days until the Lottie Moon Auction.  Are you ready?  Are you preparing items to donate for the auction?  Have you invited your family and friends?  Let’s strive to make this a big success!! All proceeds will go to support our missionaries serving in International Missions.  Looking forward to seeing you Saturday, December 3rd, at 5 p.m. in the fellowship hall.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;You can bring donated items for the auction to the church starting today November 20th.  Please mark that they are for the auction and put them in the Senior Women’s Sunday school room or give the items to Judy Leahr or Linda Bettis. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated—Sandra Mitchell&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;And here is an insert that will be in the bulletin…&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Shoeboxes for the Christian Family &lt;br/&gt;Care Center Rock Island Rescue Mission &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Christmas time is a time for giving.  Here is a great &lt;br/&gt;opportunity to share with those in our community who are less fortunate.  The WMU is requesting your help in providing filled shoe boxes for men at the Christian Family Care Center Rock Island Rescue Mission.  Some suggestions to include in the shoe box are:  toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, t-shirts, stocking caps, gloves, socks, disposable razors, shaving cream, small boxes of Kleenex, lotion, shampoo, soap, hard candy, chapstick, combs, hand warmers and wet ones.   You are not limited to these suggestions.  Please note:  NO AFTER SHAVE.  Please bring your filled and wrapped box to the church by &lt;br/&gt;Sunday, December 18th. Donations of food can be left in the foyer.  Donation of monies can be given and marked on your tithing envelopes.       <description>The YOUTH is offering to help rake leaves for those that are not able and would like some help.  They will be raking leaves on Saturday, October 22nd.  A sign-up sheet is in the foyer.  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;October is Pastor Appreciation Month:  Join us on Sunday, October 23rd, following the evening service for a fellowship to honor Pastor Jim, Andrew and their families.  Please bring finger foods to share.       <description>There are sample Deacon ballots in the bulletin today.  The voting for our new deacons will be Sunday, October 9th.  The actual voting is open to church members only. Everyone is asked to thoughtfully pray as to whom to vote for and use Acts 6:3 and I Timothy 3:8-13 as your guide for voting.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Transformational Church Seminar--Sponsored by Baptist Convention of Iowa is Thursday, October 13th, at First Baptist Church from 7-9:30 p.m.  This is for: pastors, church staff, small group leaders, SS teachers, worship leaders, evangelism &amp;amp; outreach leaders and anyone desiring their church to be transformed into the church God wants them to be. Discover how God wants to transform your church &amp;amp; ministry.
